2006 Atlantic Gemstone Winners

2006 Atlantic Gemstones Winners!

The 2006 Atlantic Gemstones were a resounding success with 20 public relations practitioners, agencies and teams recognized from across Atlantic Canada.

Almost 200 practitioners ejoyed an evening of networking, celebration and great food culminating in the presentation of 12 Awards of Merit, four Jasper Awards and four Amethyst Awards.

Special thanks is extended to our judges, a select group of 18 APRs from across the country that gave up countless hours during the brief summer season. And of course, thank you to our many, many sponsors!

Gemstone Awards are given out in two categories: Amethyst and Jasper.

Amethyst submissions focus on excellence in public relations programming and planning and include the categories of internal, external and marketing communications, media relations and low-budget masterpiece programs. The Jasper Award recognizes excellence in the creation of products to support and enhance public relations efforts in the following: websites, special events, audio visual products, print media and low budget masterpiece creations.
